Simplified "other things"

25 years ago, I saw a photo (that may have been 20 years old at the time) of a little girl playing a "whole tone piano". The difference.... white black white black white black white black white black white black white black white black white black white black white black white black. 

They simplified part: two fingerings, white and black. The hard part: everything looked the same. Of course textures or colors could have been implemented (like on a harp) to help orient the user to the notes, but, alas, it never caught on.

Some harpsichords, clavichords, etc. will have a short octave on the bass to had some lower notes where the accidentals are, I suppose we could call that simplified. But I wouldn't call it Dvorak because it only effects a few notes, and I don't know if Dvořák would have approved. (little pun there)
