With the recent resurgence of keyboards with good mechanical
keyswitches, I wasn't too surprised to hear about the creation of the
"Tactile Keyboards" Google Group.  FOSS fans will be interested to
hear that it was started by Eric Raymond (about a week ago).

I still love the buckling springs in my IBM Model M (but I probably
couldn't take it to work because the noise they make lends credence to
the idea of "justifiable homicide").  I'll settle for Cherry Blue
keyswitches that I can solder in myself ...  It's too bad no one makes
keyswitches like the Cherrys with buckling springs.
