Optimized letter layout for smart phones???

I am just wondering if any of you are aware of keyboards optimized for one
finger (the thumb).  I have a Dvorak set up on my cell-phone, but that's
just because I am familiar with it.  It seems to me a keyboard with the most
common letters and combinations clustered in the center would make the most
sense, perhaps even optimized for swiping various letter combinations.
