Hi,

I get the feeling that most folks here are DIY'ers, so I thought my
surface mount soldering tutorial might be of interest.  I recently
updated it to describe the easy method I use for soldering on 0603
sized resistors and capacitors.  Also there are instructions for
soldering on an ATmega128 and similar SMT ICs.

There are a variety of techniques for doing SMT, but I've found that
what I describe on the above page is consistent and reliable and is
reasonably fast.
