The STK500Boot don't work on atmega16

Hello everyone:

     I have compline the program and there are no errors(change Makefile and 
stk500Boot.c for atmega16, use 7.3728M crystal). After I download the hex 
file to my mega16 and programmed the BOOTRST BOOTSZ1 BOOTSZ0 fuses. I short 
the PD6 Pin to ground (based on the program). I start AVR Studio 4.08 and It 
do not find STK500! Also I try uisp, it tell me the programmer don't 
response. 
    Do anybody try the bootloader on atmega16? And give me some advice.
