The original mailing list exists since Dec 1996 and runs on a prehistoric, but durable program called "majordomo". The list has 598 subscribers, a fairly constant number over the years. IMHO, the group is still a good place to discuss CAN basics in any technical depth and new developments such as CAN-FD etc., no matter if you subscribe on Yahoo or via e-mail (http://canlist.org/canlist_subscribe_en.html). BTW, we have another mirror at http://can-bus.996267.n3.nabble.com/ with 60 users.
