Thanks, this could be one node in the network that I could connect in. But I calculated that there is 17 nodes in the test rig 13 with dual interfaces and 4 with 4 interfaces. We want to be able to connect them in a Matrix fashion. So my number now is 232 relays :) Seems like I need to look for something similar to a Matrix card. This could be an alternative: https://www.6tlengineering.com/producto.asp?id=245 Or some NI Matrix cards. Only problem is if there is any crosstalk and how to reduce droplines. It is for a system where all modules have dual CAN interfaces. So in case of error it will fallback to one of them. We want to have Continuous Integration testing on this system and write automatic tests. I would need a module with a CAN back plane, too where I could connect and disconnect modules automatically. Then see if I get the proper error messages and error handling from the modules. If anybody know about something like this please let me know. Might also work with a RS485 device if there is something like that out there. Would not like to make a matrix box with a lot of relays :/ Br, Bertil Bäck R&D Manager, Hardware +358505886895 TK Engineering solves your CAN, CANopen, J1939 and NMEA2000 needs by providing the hardware, software and know-how you need to design, manufacture and troubleshoot your industrial and heavy machine CAN networks.
