Sure it has a CAN-controller and here is a product that uses it, 
complete with CAN transceiver and connector:

Wanted to use it, but have my doubts right now. Olimex sells the product 
as Open Source Hardware. Quite sure that they did not license it at 
Bosch. If I integrate it in my product, who in the end will pay the 
license costs. I think that Bosch will claim any rights, if my company 
is the second US$ 1.000.000.000.000 company next year :-), but I did not 
know about missing license costs. Just used Open Source Hardware and 
Software.
