Re: Fuel data on Volvo FH 2015

IIRC, the Volvo Euro 6 engines send fuel data using HRLFC instead of LFC message because of the improved resolution.
If you don't have a recent J1939 standard (and don't want to spend money) for the PGN, just grab the latest FMS Standard documentation, as both LFC and HRLFC are in the subset of J1939 that FMS uses.

Also: I'm assuming that you're connecting to the vehicle using the FMS gateway. If not, Volvo uses multiple CAN networks (that you're not supposed to connect to directly), and not all PGNs are available on all networks.

Hello,

i was trying to get total fuel used and fuel level information from VOLVO FH
2015 model. unfortunately i am not able to get these information on the
standard j1939 PGNs, total fuel used was expected on FEE9/FD09 and fuel
level on FEFC. hence can you please assist and provide the PGNs for total
fuel used and fuel level. else let me know if there is any special request i
should send to receive data on the standard PGNs
