Node spacing issue

Hello,

The issue John mentioned regarding inter-node spacing is interesting. There
are not absolute spacing limits, but the issue is rather related to the
entire network -- if there are groups of nodes connected as a start or
daisy-chained with very short connections and long plain cable between the
groups, the result is different impedance domains. The impedance transition
points introduce problematic reflections. We have done some nice repairs by
linearizing the topologies and changing into longer interconnections
within the groups. Steve's publications are inspiring and easy to
understand -- everyone should consider networks as a number of infinitely
short impendaces connected in series.
