Hi Ayse, You may need a DAQ card, a GPS RF front-end, and a decent PC. Try SiGe, Maxim, STMicro, or any other GPS chip makers to get an evaluation board of their RF front-end chip. Many RF front-end chips have an IF bandwidth of 2MHz to 8MHz for GPS L1 C/A code. The IF signal will then be sampled by an onboard 1-bit/2-bit ADC at 5MHz to 16MHz. So your DAQ card needs at least 20MHz sampling rate. NI has a good collection of DAQ cards though they are a bit pricey. I got an SE4100 GPS IC board from SiGe and an MI7005 PCI digital I/O card from Data Quest Solutions. You could easily port the Matlab files in Tsui's "Fundamentals of Global Navigation System Receivers: A Software Approach" into C/C++. Try FFTW library to get the best FFT performance.
