Hi Charles, I simply ignore the time initialization in my code. It is very easy for the receiver to pick one of the visible satellites and initialize the receiver clock from TOW. You should be able to get the first fix within a couple of minutes anyway. By the way, I guess the local clock reading has to be in Zulu (or UTC, GMT, whatever you call it), not a local time zone.
