dear andrew, I just got attracted by your work on open source GPS site. I am a beginner in this area. I would like to learn more on GPS receiver and its architecture. Though many hardware are available. I also found MG5001 product attractive for small applications. I was going through your MG5001 based openGPS document and I would like to know some points like: 1. the original MG5001 used ITRON OS as per Signav documents. what is the reason to go for eCOS OS. I think ITRON also an open source as specified by Signav. Company is selling the product with ITRON. I understand that way! 2. For GPS processor 4020 what is software development platform needed for your openGPS. What Linux/Windows based product can be used for 4020 program development. Rick, are you still experiencing a slow connection? Also, Rick, give me a call soon and lets go over your settings... I don't know why you don't have commit access - it works for me, and you do seem to be signed up as a developer. It might be an ssh thing.
