Hi Andrew, I did some work on the gpl_src over the last few months, mainly for my own enlightenment. Such as warm allocation and some tracking improvements, I also added calculation of the txco correction and experimented with Kalman filtering the position solution. Is there a review panel for incorporating changes? I also had a couple of questions, you mentioned somewhere that the arm runs faster with 2byte shorts as opposed to 4 bytes integers. Is this significant my version of the code runs out of steam when tracking 9 or more satellites and acquiring on the other 3 channels. One more thing I noticed that Eric Hagermann managed to add WAAS processing but I don't see the code anywhere. I cannot get my code to lock onto the waas frames although all the pieces seem to work when tested, ie I can track the signal, viterbi decode the data stream and my CRC checksum routine works when tested on data in a file but I don't get a 0 checksum from the satellite data stream. Any thoughts or comments gratefully appreciated. I am starting the process of porting OSGPS to a main loop style program running on an embedded ARM platform. I was wondering if there is similar open source project anyone knows of using OSGPS and ARM in a main loop? Forgive me if this is covered in the documentation, I am off to read more now! Note that the project is a bit stale now - OSGPS has moved on, and GPL-GPS really needs to be updated to the latest OSGPS bits. We hope to do more work on it this summer, including working on porting it to an FPGA board.
