Hi everybody, my name is Guido Pagana and I work for the Politecnico di Torino, a university for engineers in Italy. We are developping a picosatellite to be projected and used by students. We want this picosatellite to have an information about its position, so that a GPS receiver is to be installed on it. Some questions: 1.our project is a picosatellite (dimensions: 10cm x 10 cm x 10 cm), which commercial device do you think is most suitable - the power consumption must be very low as well, less than 2 W - I was thinking about the SIgtec MG5003 (300$) , has anyone a better suggestion? 2.our project will be, of course, an open source project. I think we will need a Kalman filter to predict orbit and velovity of the picosatellite. Has anyone any experience on it?
