Guys,

Thanks for the information on how to find out about the PCI bus on Linux. At the moment I'm trying to get it to run under DOS. So far I've been using a separate program to give me a list of what has been allocated to the PCI cards.

To let you know what else I've been working on and would appreciate any help. I've been reluctant to release any code that was "in progress" but maybe I can set up a separate area or use the Sourceforge CVS area to collaborate more closely.

1. Alberto Perez has sent me source code for a Kalman filter. So far I have not had time to look into integrating it.

2. The PCI interface (very simple once you know what IO address the card has).

3. Modifying the code to download the almanac whenever a new data set is available (instead of once a week).

4. Adding #ifdefs to compile under DJGPP. I'm hoping this is a good stepping stone to using the GCC compiler. So far it compiles but does not run. I believe the issues are with the ISR, proctected mode etc. That source code is available if anyone is interested.

Thanks again,

Cliff

ION GNSS 2004 is coming up soon. Since it is being held here in Long Beach, close to Doug Baker and I this would be a great opportunity to get together again. I'll buy the pizza and beer. Of course the noise floor may rise as the amount of beer increases.
