I have IFS files with a character set that is, by default, incompatible with the download or view of iACS Integrated File System. Changing all the files character set, and any new ones, is outside the scope. I found this great solution from Sylvain Manceau at https://community.ibm.com/community/user/discussion/ifs-text-is-unreadable-when-using-iacs-integrated-file-system In ACS Integrated File System browser, I use "View..." (not "View") in the contextual menu for a text file (right click), then "View as UTF-8 text file". Also available with the "Download..." (not "Download") action. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: [email protected] To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: https://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request-+hD5IHI5Xscn3HwCXmMcX9BPR1lH4CV8@public.gmane.org Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at https://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
