Level 10: Mirrored drive pairs (1) with striping (0) on top. Or in other words, let SLIC do the scatter/gather (striping) thing as it has done since 1988, and mirroring "below" for protection.

What's the message behind this? "Even if it's a bit slower, it's still faster than anything they can dream of"?
