Hi Greg,

first - I would create some small universal build/compile tool/command for me, that tries to find out the target library itself - I don't know if you have any "rules" there, that you can automate. 

I would also create some small "source checkout" tool/command - so you don't have to rely on the VS Code internal functions. 

It's always handy to create some custom commands and integrate these as actions in VS Code. We have done the same for our environment and are quite happy with it. 

And in the end, IBM Bob and the Premium Package for i will mix the cards new. We don't know now, how much IBM relies on Code for IBM i with the premium package - but probably they implemented some of the functionality themselves. 

And last - if there is a problem with Code for IBM i, it's always good to report the issue on GitHub.
