SYSTOOLS.SEND_EMAIL from CLLE

I have a CL that needs to send an email.  I have been trying to use
SYSTOOLS.SEND_EMAIL for emails in SQLRPGLE but I can't figure out how to do
it from within a CLLE program.  Google AI lies because it shows using a "set
:var = SYSTOOLS.SEND_EMAIL." but it apparently the compiler doesn't handle
the variable like it does in SQLRPGLE.

 

Does anybody have any insight other than using the old CL command like
SNDSMTPEMM or writing an SQLRPGLE program just to send the email?
