RE: News(???): Administration Runtime Expert (ARE)

Boy, the timing is something else.  90 minutes after I posted my OP, IBM sends out a notification that the ARE GUI "is vulnerable to a user gaining elevated privileges".

One vulnerability has a CVSS Base score of 9.9.  The remediation PTF renders "the legacy ARE GUI ... nonfunctional."

Maybe this will light a fire under the ARE team to get template management into Navigator.

One of my daily "IBM My Notifications" emails included a "see what's new at IBM support" for Administration Runtime Expert (ARE) with the headline "The ARE product is being migrated to Navigator for I", which I found humorous given that this has been the "news" for at least a year now.  The linked article was modified yesterday, but I see nothing in the article that materially changed from the last time I read it.  Working with templates still requires using the ARE interface which has its own UI issues.

Is anyone here using ARE and have you been frustrated by what looks like a lack of progress?
