JDE World Migration project now complete !

For the last two years I have been working on a JDE World --> IFS Cloud ERP ( https://www.ifs.com/en/ifs-cloud ) migration project.  The client has now gone live on IFS Cloud.

For this project I created hundreds of SQL scripts that were used to convert the JDE data into CSV's used by a custom-built ETL system that loaded them into the IFS ERP Oracle database.

A side project for me was using Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) to migrate the JDE physical files into a SQL Server database for historical purposes, which is now complete after a few challenges - SSMA has a few quirks and bugs which I eventually figured out.

FYI, anyone having questions about getting linked servers running between SQL Server and the IBM i system, I have two linked servers configured - one using the MS OLEDB provider and another using the IBM DB2 for i IBMDASQL OLE DB.
There is not a wealth of information on configuring linked servers to IBM i - I spent considerable time doing Google searches on this and after much experimentation and frustration I finally created working provider strings for both OLE DB providers.

Now my client wants me to analyze what it would take to get the Real Vision Imaging stuff off the IBM i system.  They are running RVI version 9.  I am waiting for them to provide a copy of the RVI user documentation.  Does anyone have any experience in this area ?
