That is exactly what I was thinking Dan.

This is nice. it is smaller than the RCX, and has an external power
source. The IR setup will really come in handy. I take it the
controller is only compatible with passive sensors? Although with the
Sharp sensors - you have a ncie range of quite advanced sensors.
When it goes modular, are the slave controllers addressed? Can they
run off in their own micromode, occasionally using the bus for
signalling? Is it possible to use the bus to connect two "masters" as
powerful peers for a more powerful bot?
I would love to see you get this to market - it would be a real win
for Lego Robotics.
