As for support, I know that botball.org is heavily invested in RIS parts for the forseeable future, along with 3rd party stuff like the brain from Charmed Labs. I can't see FLL forcing everyone to NXT right away either, as it would drive participants away. I think they've said they will allow both systems to be used; I can see a bit of David/Goliath storyline -- well-funded school with NXT systems loses to scrappy, underfunded RIS team... maybe FLL can be convinced to loosen their restrictions on 3rd party programming tools for RIS cometitors, as a way of somewhat leveling the playing field. TLG seems like a smart company. It's never a good idea to PO dedicated, long-standing customers. Therefore I suspect they will continue to support the existing market for some time. YMMV - dan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
