In the console where you are running NQC, type `set RCX_PORT=usb' before starting it. > My main desktop is linux (Fedora 4). > > * Has anyone managed to use NQC with the USB tower in linux? The Linux kernel has had LEGO USB Tower support for quite some time, although it might not have been compiled into your current kernel. There is a specific option for it in the kernel config. If you have support, you should see /dev/legousbtower0 appear when you plug in the tower. This is the file you need to point NQC to. > I would appreciate detailed and step by step instruction. > > Thanks in advance, > > Linmix William. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFEQ3ACGr2rfWFeutsRAnmMAJ4/aoH8uYtm1HJaxStBv4yYrW/jgACZAYv3 Og67HzsKfbDTvfdYnVgnrMg= =drg+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
