Greetings,

We have a new release 0.10.0 under way, the first rc version is
available at [1]

This release contains brand new python binding as a pypi package. Here
is also major fixes to the device enumeration. Feedback from the Debian
build chain, MacOS packaging as well as cross-compiling users has led to
build fixes and enhancements. Plus the usual sleeve of bug fixes and
enhancements.

Note that the docs on htt://lirc.org are outdated and should not be
used, see the README.md at [1].

Source packages are available at [1]. Fedora, Ubuntu and Debian packages
will be available later (to be announced).

Fixed bugs: https://sourceforge.net/p/lirc/tickets/milestone/0.10/
