Repeating last button over and over again

Hello!

I am sorry if i disturb you all but i have an issue with LIRC i can not resolve and i can not find any information on the internet regarding that problem so poating here is my last resort. I am sorry if the information i provide is incomplete but this is my first bug report and if i have forgotten some important information just say i will do my best to provide it.

I got LIRC up and running on my Pi running the latest version of LIRC, Kodi and Jessy but pretty frequently the button that is pressed last gets stuck and pressed over and over again but that signal is not from the remote (tried to cover the remote but signal spamming persists), irw shows normal inputs from the remote and the spaming only stops when i kill/restart the lirc-process on the pi. trying various values on "min_repeat" and "suppress_repeat" in the lirc config had no effect either. the problem also persists when i create a new config for a different remote...
