Hey people, I hope you can help me this time. I had lirc working for a long time some years back, I don't know how or why but it just stopped working, and I didn't pay much attention at the time. My specs are very similar to this guy: http://lirc.10951.n7.nabble.com/Please-need-help-to-get-lirc-running-td11333.html > kernel 4.17.3-1-ARCH > Intel DN2820FYKH > dmesg | grep cir > [ 11.412922] ite_cir: Auto-detected model: ITE8713 CIR transceiver > [ 11.412925] ite_cir: Using model: ITE8713 CIR transceiver > [ 11.412927] ite_cir: TX-capable: 1 > [ 11.412928] ite_cir: Sample period (ns): 8680 > [ 11.412930] ite_cir: TX carrier frequency (Hz): 38000 > [ 11.412931] ite_cir: TX duty cycle (%): 33 > [ 11.412932] ite_cir: RX low carrier frequency (Hz): 0 > [ 11.412933] ite_cir: RX high carrier frequency (Hz): 0 > [ 11.912376] lirc lirc0: lirc_dev: driver ir-lirc-codec (ite-cir) registered at minor = 0 > [ 11.912399] ite_cir: driver has been successfully loaded I tried to review system recently, even recording the whole remote again, for all things it seems like it should. But here is the odd part, when testing with irw, I get one, and only one received signal, having to restart the lirc daemon, to receive only one more again. Anyone ever experienced anything like this? Is it possible its some signal code error and the daemon doesn't know the "press" has ended? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot
