You just haven't understood it, have you? That I'm doing this on my free
time, and that this varies. The last year has been different for me, I'm
on a new job and have had far less time available.

But, to be honest, it's also about motivation. I asked if you had done
the update according to the instructions (which you perhaps didn't find
in the first try; no problems with that). This is what I got back from you.

If this message was posted in a debian context it would clearly violate
the code of conduct. Here we are just lirc upstream, here are no such
guidelines. But I can assure you that my motivation to help drops
dramatically when addressed this way.

So, unless you answer my question this discussion is over for me. Life
is too short.
