Hi all, I just added a sample program to show the usage of the MDNS deamon in combination with a simple web service. You can find this sample in nut/app/mdnsd_uhttpd/ Unfortunately the MDNSd needs a little RAM (for caching the MDNS entries), so it won't run on boards with less than 16K free RAM. This sample announces itself as "ethernut.local" and the Webservice running on port 80. You can reach the webserver under the following URL: http://ethernut.local Multicast DNS works on Linux and OS/X, on Windows you might need to install the Apple Bonjour service. At least on older Windows versions. I do not know, if Windows 10 supports Multicast DNS natively.
