My email client offers me two reply functions: reply to sender, and
reply to all recipients of the original message.  I believe that this
is common in all modern mail clients.

With Reply-To unmunged these functions do what they say.  How is this
difficult to cope with ?

What Reply-To munged they both reply only to the list.  Hence the fact
that we're having this flamewar here.
