PIC18F4520 Progammer Circuit Recommendations

I've been looking at using a PIC18F4520 for a robotics project and 
wanted some recommendations for a simple programmer to build.  I almost 
exclusively run GNU/Linux and see that the PIC18F452 is supported by 
picprog.  From the data sheets it looks like programming circuits for 
the 452 should work for the 4520.  Any help would be appreciated.
