One potential problem, maybe it is not related to your code but the Linux HID driver and hot-plugging system. Once I unplug the PICDEM FS USB demo board, the last character (one of the characters in FOOBAR) will sometimes continue to be scroll though the screen. I have to hit ctrl-c to stop the scrolling of the last character. The other thing I notice is that the 4 LEDs are in different state under Linux and Windows. Pretty strange. Regards, Xiaofan An example when I plug and unplug the PICDEM FS USB with your keyboard hex file. This is actually happening when I am typing, in this Firefox window. It also happens in other window which gets the focus. FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAR FOOBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (Ctrl-C)
