I have found the cause: an error in the macro 'strupr()' provided by Daniel Serpell. In the meantime I have made the necessary changes (quite a lot) to compile xwisp2 with GCC under OS/2 and Linux without warnings! And it runs fine here under both. I have sent the source to Daniel for a test. I'll expect his report soon and may then release a new version.
