I tend to think it is more than an Alpha version. Most of the things
are supposed to be working now.

You can probably try to join the private Microchip forum MPLAB X
section to find more. It is not an open discussion forum and I am
not 100% sure how you join the forum.

I do not know what the X means in MPLAB X. Maybe the
Microchip guy in this mailing list can tell you.
