Re: [OT] HS Tariff code for assembled pcbs?

Read everyone else's responses first as this adds onto those..

You should pick the HTS code which corresponds to the board's use.  I.e. if
it's a board for a widget, you should find the HTS code for widget and
usually there is a "parts for" classification.

I haven't looked recently but I believe there are also codes for electronic
parts or prototypes or training or educational materials and similar if
that fits.

As was mentioned, these are supposed to be standardized, but they're just
enough different between countries to make it necessary to check the hts
code for the destination country to make sure it matches.
