MOSFETs when "on", conduct to both sides, in practice shorting the diodes.

There is no complementary transistor, both transistors are N-Channel or 
both are P-Channel.

The only condition is that their gates must be at a higher voltage than 
their sources for N-Channel or at a lower voltage in case of the 
P-Channel. Both sources are conneted together and both gates are 
connected to each other.
