It should be possible to dissolve it out of jeans, vinegar soak might do it, other acids may be better.  Obviously test a small spot to make sure it doesn't stain or do damage.  There's at least one guy on the list that knows some chemistry, is suspect he can recommend something easy.  Especially as it's a fine powder it should dissolve relatively quickly I'd think.
