Funny you should mention it, I used to teach electronics. I have a transparent classroom meter meant for placing on an overhead projector. I'd need to dig it out to see if it is center zero, I doubt it is. If so, it's yours if you want it, my classroom days are long over. I know they used to make such for classroom use, but probably hen's toothbrushes today. Visible at 50' or more, in the dark, is the key.
