I know I'm stretching the topic a bit here, but could you clarify
"Destroyed by tariffs", please?
I'm currently working with a small board with an ESP32 on it (think
business card size). JLCPCB is doing qty250 fully populated boards at
$8 each. Even with tariffs, my landed cost is less than $20 ea.
The US based assembler wants $32 each and the quote still has a
disclaimer promising to pass any tariffs back to me in addition to the
quoted cost.
