Interestingly, the prices are several orders of magnitude lower than I remember. For thinwall prototype parts made of metal this seems quite reasonable. (I wonder if it is porous or gas tight?) SLM $25 (USD) for an aluminum benchy $37 for a stainless benchy Size: 60.66 x 32.91 x 48.00mm (2.4" x 1.3" x 1.9") Volume: 15.29 cm And to have it 3D printed via FDM processes is allegedly less than $2.50? Wild. I must be missing some sort of catch. Presumably they are using the same model as the PCB prototypers - ie. importing large batches from Asian manufacturers? -Jason White
