[OT] Transfer contents of old phone to new or start from scratch?

Good day to all

I have just purchased a Pixel 10 phone.  I now have two choices: simply
allow the phone to transfer everything from my current phone to the new one
**OR** start from scratch with the new phone.

I am seeking both advice from fellow PIClisters as well as suggestions for
other online resources (forums, etc) to help me decide.

I have had my current phone for about 5 years and it has a bunch of stuff I
don't really need (or want).  But the appeal of having all of my accournts
set up automatically makes this a question worth asking.

Opinions greatly appreciated!
