Hi Dwayne, I've used "create a recovery disk" successfully. It has a couple of options regarding what gets backed up. It's part of Windows, just type "recovery" into the search/start thingy. Friendly regards, Bob ________________________________________ From: Piclist <[email protected]> on behalf of Dwayne Reid Sent: Sunday, August 16, 2026 4:05 PM To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. Subject: [OT] How to back up new (to me) Win 11 laptop Good day to all. I purchased a used Lenovo laptop with a fresh install of Windows 11. I would like to back it up before I begin installing my normal software applications. My most recent copy of Acronis is version 2021. If I recall correctly, my best option is to create a biitabke USB drive that Win 11 will boot from. I no longer recall how to do that. Can someone point me towards information on how to do this? Many thanks! dwayne
