Hi there, I am experiencing problems with a TINI connected to a Telesat high speed internet satellite system: http://www.telesat-hsi.com/eng/index.htm The system provides similar functionality to a DSL router, incorporating a DHCP server and providing a gateway to the internet with 5 IP addresses. It runs at 512K but has very long delay times (ping typically 1 second, but can be 3 to 4 seconds). The TINI is acting primarily as a web server. It will work for a period of minutes but will then lockup, with no access via http, telnet, ftp or ping (the TINI is still running, acquiring data via serial). It seems to lockup even if there are no active HTTP connections. The problem occurs both when the TINI leases an IP address and when it has a static address (suggested by the satellite supplier - the DHCP server is still running). Can anyone suggest what could be causing it? Are there any TCP settings I can tweak to prevent this. I am planning to log the network traffic tomorrow using ethereal - can anyone suggest what I might be looking for, either via ethereal or elsewhere? Many thanks in advance, Chris. _______________________________________________ TINI mailing list TINI-6tN4nzCoH/[email protected] To UNSUBSCRIBE, edit your profile, or see list archives: http://lists.dalsemi.com/mailman/listinfo/tini
