There are adhesives that are meant for this. Superglue is not a good idea
around electronics. Use past solders dispensed from a syringe or other fine
dispensers. There are many good lead-free, water soluble flux solders
available.

Practice! With a little practice you can do it all adhesive free. I have
completely built out several E20 boards this way.
