Immutable State Block

Hello everyone.

I have a 1MB TINI that appears to be unable to install an immutable state
block. There is nothing wrong with the library code that does the job; it is
running fine on another 1MB TINI (1.02e). The block is 4 bytes and is
installed in the library init. The first clue that something was wrong was
when native routines that accessed the block started failing intermittently.
Finally, the library init failed.

I've tried reloading everything from scratch but it makes no difference.
Does anyone know how the TINI could have got into this state and what, if
anything, I can do to put it right?

Is there any way I can test the memory or do I just chuck it in the bin? The
apparent lack of reliability is a bit disconcerting.
