Bryan, I moved PCs and found the problem! The handshake line on my 1st PC had gone flakey (is was not asserting the DTR properly). In testing I saw the DTR- RESET LED on my line monitor go off but never saw the DTR-SET LED come on - I took it as the Line Monitor was crook but infact it was my serial port. I posted a note suggesting that if the TINI is powered-on when JavaKit is running with DTR Set and boot messages still appear, then there may be a DTR line problems.
