I have some TINI example code here that you might find useful:

http://www.lvr.com/eeccode.htm

The Real-time Web Page example shows how to use a home-brewed web server to
serve a page that displays "real-time" information (retrieved when serving
the page) without using servlets.

The Device Controller and Form Response examples respond to user input and
use the Tynamo Web server and servlet engine.

To view the source code for a servlet engine, see TiniHttpServer:

http://www.smartsc.com/tini/TiniHttpServer/index.html

My Embedded Ethernet and Internet Complete book includes an introduction to
servlets and why and how to use them.
