The Runtime methods will tell you if that is happening. So you could store your code in flash to free up more NVRAM. Also be sure you are using a TINI with 1 MByte of NVRAM. Send off your files via ethernet before they get too large? Just some (obvious) ideas of which you are probably already aware...
