This could cause the interrupts you are seeing.  Try removing J5 to see 
if the interupts stop.  P1.7 is INT5.  You can use any interrupt line 
that is physically unencumbered.  P1.5 (INT3) and P1.6 (INT4) can be 
used if you do not need flow control for serial 4.
